If you are planning to request leave, you can do so on the TSC leave application portal. The Teachers service commission implemented the portal from 1st December 2021 onwards.
Be advised that the portal facilitates you to submit your application. After you submit it, the concerned official will review it and approve or reject it. Here are the types of leave applications that you can offer online:
Paternity Leave | Maternity Leave |
Spouse of Diplomat | Examination Leave |
Sick Leave | Annual Leave |
Compassionate Leave | Special Leave |
Adoption Leave | Official Duty |
Requirements
To access the online system, the following details are required:
- TSC Number
- ID Number
- Registered Mobile Number
- Auth Code
TSC Leave Portal Login
- Go to https://hrmis.tsc.go.ke/tm-app/apply_leave
- Enter your TSC Number, ID number, and Registered Mobile Number, and click on the “Login Button.”
- Now, you get a auth code on the registered mobile number
- Enter the Auth Code to complete the login process
After successful login, you are redirected to the online application page.

TSC Online Leave Application – How to Apply
No matter which leaves you seek, be it Maternity leave, paternity leave, annual leave or any other, the application process is the same.
Ensure that you have already signed in to the TSC leave application portal.
How to Check TSC Leave Application Status
After you apply, you are presented with a section on the dashboard that displays all the leave applications submitted so far. That section contains a column, “Status”, which conveys the status of your leave application.
Make sure you keep checking it from time to time to check the leave application status.
