Using your accumulated Bonga points, you can pay for Startimes, GoTv, DSTV, Zuku, KPLC, and other bills.

The telecommunication giant has made it possible for people to pay for products and services using Bonga Points through an automatic conversion.

This Service is open to all Safaricom subscribers who wish to redeem their Bonga Points for goods and services at all vendor outlets with a Lipa na MPESA Buy goods or Pay bill number.

With Bonga points, you can buy goods at an outlet, pay for water, and electricity, and buy data and SMS among others. Redemption of Bonga Points is currently at the rate of 1 Bonga point to 20 cents.

You will follow these steps to use Bonga points to pay bills:

1. Dial *126# and Select Lipa na Bonga Points
2. Select Pay Bill
3. Enter the Business Number
4. Enter the amount you want to redeem in Ksh (each point is 0.20 shillings). Confirm payment and Accept to complete.

How to redeem Bonga Points for Free Phones, Tablets, and Accessories

You can redeem Bonga points phones by following the following steps:

1. Dial *126#  and Select Redeem Bonga Points for Free Phones, Tablets, and Accessories
2. You will be issued with a password number, valid for 48 hours.
3. Present this password to any Safaricom Customer Care centers when collecting the gadget.

• Enter Business Number: 4038069 (BRAINVERSE TECHNOLOGIES)
• Enter the M-PESA number to receive cash as Account Number e.g. 0713…
• Enter Amount
• Enter M-PESA PIN
• Wait for confirmation SMSes from Safaricom, M-PESA & BRAINVERSE.

While paying using Bonga points, always ensure the amount you redeem is enough for your bill. If you enter a lower amount compared to your actual bill, you may redeem more points to cater for the difference.
