As a blogger, you must be working day and night to produce great content, drive traffic, and make money from ads. But it is easy to overlook some of the simplest methods of increasing traffic and thus Google AdSense earnings by a significant amount.
So – in today’s post I am sharing one of the simplest ways to improve traffic and increase your income!
Benefits of using long tail and high CPC Google AdSense Keywords:
Using the long tail and high CPC (cost per click) Google AdSense keywords can provide several benefits, including:
- Higher revenue: Long tail and high CPC keywords are more specific and targeted, meaning they attract advertisers who are willing to pay more per click. This can lead to higher revenue for publishers who use these keywords in their AdSense ads.
- Less competition: Long tail keywords are less competitive than short tail keywords, which means there is less competition for ad space and higher chances of being displayed. This can lead to more clicks and revenue.
- Improved targeting: Long tail keywords are more specific and relevant to the content of the webpage, which improves the targeting of the AdSense ads. This can lead to higher click-through rates (CTR) and better user engagement.
- Increased user satisfaction: By using more specific and relevant keywords, publishers can provide a better user experience for their audience. This can lead to increased user satisfaction and loyalty.
- Better ad placement: AdSense uses contextual targeting to display ads that are relevant to the content on the webpage. By using long-tail keywords, publishers can improve contextual targeting and ensure that the ads are placed in the most relevant locations on the page.
Overall, using long tail and high CPC Google AdSense keywords can help publishers increase revenue, improve targeting and user satisfaction, and optimize ad placement.
Similarly, the more high-CPC keywords you are using, the more your AdSense earnings will increase over time.
How to find profitable Keywords:
Semrush is one amazing tool and is a unique tool in terms of the amazing features it offers. I won’t go into a detailed explanation of this tool here because you can refer to my review article to learn all you need to know about using Semrush. What I want to do today is show you how you can use this tool to find profitable AdSense keywords.
To get all you can from this excellent tool, I suggest you first compile the following tools:
- Google Docs spreadsheet or any other tool you’re using to manage keywords.
- Semrush account. (Get a completely 14-day free trial using this link)
- List of high and medium-authority blogs in your niche.
Login to your Semrush account, and type the name of the domain that you want to use for finding long tail high CPC keywords. For example, in this case, I’m using the Warrior forum
Now, you need to sort the list by clicking on the CPC tab, and it will sort the list in order of high CPC keywords first.
What is interesting to note is that most high CPC AdSense keywords are usually long tail keywords. Indeed, some of them are as high as $300+ per click!
Now begin copying the keywords which you think are most suitable for your blog. (I usually note most of the keywords on my content-planning Google document, and I use these notes later for structuring content on TheCounties.Info or any other blog.)
Continue to repeat the process for the other domains on the list, and by the time you have completed this exercise, you will have an extensive list of high-CPC AdSense keywords.
Since you are already targeting niche-based long-tail keywords, you are most likely to rank higher and drive traffic to those keywords. This is one of the simplest and fastest ways to skyrocket your Google AdSense earnings.
Keep in mind that you need to make sure your keywords are driving traffic from countries like the United States. Otherwise, you are not maximizing your potential from this tip.
