One of Kenya’s greatest long-distance athletes Faith Kipyegon has revealed how she invests her millions obtained from track races. Speaking to Jeff Koinange on Wednesday night she explained that she puts her money in lands where she buys and plants maize.
According to her, she does this in a bid to show the upcoming Athletes the importance of investing the money they get from Winning in various races.
When she was asked whether she was given a house as promised recently, she answered in the affirmative.
“We try to invest and show other athletes that if you get something, just invest. Start buying land and other things. Mi napenda mahindi sana. Nyumba iko, nilipata nyumba”, said faith Kipyegon during the TV interview.
The athlete further advised other athletes to avoid doping as it will dent the image of the country, saying that even the money obtained will soon disappear when one is discovered.
