Citizen TV journalist Ayub Abdikadir on Sunday morning wedded his lover Idil Hassan Ali in a colourful event held at the Ole Sereni Hotel along Mombasa road.
The event known as Nikah started at 12:00 noon with guests arriving at the venue.
Notable journalists from Citizen TV such as Linus Kaikai, Rashid Abdalla, Hassan Mugambi, and Trevor Ombija were in attendance.
National Assembly majority party whip Sylvanus Osoro also attended the event which was only limited to invited guests.
The venue was well-decorated with white flowers.
Congratulatory messages poured in from different well-wishers and friends who missed the event.
“Congratulations 🎈 to my Great Friend on his wedding. Wish you peace and love in your marriage,” Babu Owino wrote.
However, no photo of the bride was shared.
